National Flag & Display Co., Inc. fabricated the series of flags depicting Robert Indiana’s Peace Paintings. The flags join monumental sculptures, including his famous LOVE sculpture sitting on Fifth Avenue.

National Flag & Display was recently engaged to produce the flags for The Flag Project at Rockefeller Center. The event is a collaboration between Rockefeller Center and City Harvest, New York City’s largest food rescue organization.
The Flag Project features flags based upon crowd-sourced art submissions inspired by this year’s theme of global cuisine and international culture. The Flag Project runs from April 1st through April 30th and is free and open to the public.

In celebration of Christie’s historical exhibition and art auction of The Paul G. Allen Collection, National Flag & Display Co., Inc. was commissioned to reproduce some of the collection’s 150 masterpieces for a flag takeover at Rockefeller Center – across the street from the famous auction house, where we also made the exhibition banners. Cezanne, Manet, Kandinsky, Seurat, and Van Gogh are among the artist works flying on 193 poles surrounding the ice rink through November 8th.
Paul G. Allen was a co-founder of Microsoft. All proceeds from the auction will be dedicated to philanthropy.

National Flag & Display Co., Inc. proudly provided and installed the graphics heralding the 2018 World Cup two-week viewing party at Rockefeller Center.
Bleachers were open to the public to watch giant screens showing live matches. We outfitted both in custom printed fabric wrapped boards that identified the event, announced the sponsors and helped define the event space within a landmark venue. In addition there was a custom soccer field with various activities for young and old soccer enthusiasts. We also provided custom pitch signage and barricade covers.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York City. The first tree was erected in 1931 when workers constructing Rockefeller Center decorated a 20 foot tree with cranberries, paper, and tin cans, according to Daniel Okrent , author of “Great Fortune: The Epic of Rockefeller Center.” The 2015 tree is a 78-foot Hudson Valley Norway Spruce weighing 10 tons.

National Flag and Display produces the custom outdoor banner for the 2014 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
The 2014 Rockefeller Christmas tree is an 85-foot Norway spruce donated by a family from Pennsylvania. The 13-ton tree arrived in Rockefeller Center after a 155-mile journey from Danville PA. It will be decorated with more than 45,000 LED lights and a 9-foot wide Swarovski star in preparation for the annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” illuminating ceremony. The annual tree lighting event draws tens of thousands of people and is watched by millions more on television. The ceremony has been held since 1933.

National Flag & Display (NYC) selected to produce custom banner displays at the Rockefeller Center “Amazing Shanghai” exhibition.
Rockefeller Center is hosting the Amazing Shanghai, an exhibition displaying the rich history and achievements of the city of Shanghai over the last century. This exhibition will feature 100 years of artwork and photography along with 15 displays that focus on the unique and important history of the Jewish Community in Shanghai. National Flag & Display of NYC was selected to produce the custom banners for the displays through the exhibition.
