National Flag & Display produces the Step and Repeat Backdrops for the UNICEF Snowflake Ball.

Celebrating its eleventh year, the UNICEF Snowflake Ball is one of the most notable galas in New York City. This year’s goal was to raise $3.4 million to add to the $23 million raised over the past ten years. Around 700 guests, including celebrities and socialites attended this annual event. The Snowflake Ball is to help fund aid for the world’s children in need.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York City. The first tree was erected in 1931 when workers constructing Rockefeller Center decorated a 20 foot tree with cranberries, paper, and tin cans, according to Daniel Okrent , author of “Great Fortune: The Epic of Rockefeller Center.” The 2015 tree is a 78-foot Hudson Valley Norway Spruce weighing 10 tons.
