Since 2005, Design On A Dime has served as an integral fundraiser to sustain lifesaving services, raising more than $7 million in support of program initiatives to empower the lives of individuals living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is a worldwide symbol of the holidays in New York City. The first tree was erected in 1931 when workers constructing Rockefeller Center decorated a 20 foot tree with cranberries, paper, and tin cans, according to Daniel Okrent , author of “Great Fortune: The Epic of Rockefeller Center.” The 2015 tree is a 78-foot Hudson Valley Norway Spruce weighing 10 tons.

National Flag and Display produces the custom outdoor banner for the 2014 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
The 2014 Rockefeller Christmas tree is an 85-foot Norway spruce donated by a family from Pennsylvania. The 13-ton tree arrived in Rockefeller Center after a 155-mile journey from Danville PA. It will be decorated with more than 45,000 LED lights and a 9-foot wide Swarovski star in preparation for the annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” illuminating ceremony. The annual tree lighting event draws tens of thousands of people and is watched by millions more on television. The ceremony has been held since 1933.

Rockefeller Center is hosting the Amazing Shanghai, an exhibition displaying the rich history and achievements of the city of Shanghai over the last century. This exhibition will feature 100 years of artwork and photography along with 15 displays that focus on the unique and important history of the Jewish Community in Shanghai. National Flag & Display of NYC was selected to produce the custom banners for the displays through the exhibition.
